This workshop unpacks the tactics behind one of the game’s most organised scenarios, which is around the ground stoppages. We’ll explore the key components that drive successful clearances, structure forward and behind the ball from stoppage, stoppage strategy and transition post clearance. 

Using data, game vision and professional-level examples, we’ll break down how different clubs approach this phase to gain territory, transition into the lanes post stoppage and create scoring opportunities.

Coaches will leave with a clear understanding of how to develop their stoppage philosophy, assign roles and train the skills required to win these critical contests consistently.
