This workshop equips coaches with the tools to plan and execute a pre-season strategy. We’ll explore how to conduct a thorough post-season review, assess list strengths and weaknesses and design a game plan that maximises your team’s identity and resources. Coaches will learn how to map out pre-season training once all key areas have been considered, ensuring physical, tactical, and skill components are addressed in the right sequence.

A key focus will be on creating and refining teaching resources so coaches can communicate concepts effectively and embed them into player learning. Using skill acquisition principles, we’ll demonstrate how to progress training activities from fundamentals to match-specific scenarios, ensuring players develop game-ready habits.

By the end of the session, coaches will have a clear framework for list management, game plan design, and the structured progression of training to prepare their team for sustained success.
